Shashi Caan (chair) Shashi Caan is a prolific designer with over twenty years’ experience teaching at major art and design schools, including the Pratt Institute and the New York School of Interior Design. She was Chair of Interior Design at Parsons School of Design, and continues to participate on advisory boards and educational task forces. She is also founder of the Shashi Caan Collective, and was named Designer of the Year by Contract magazine. |  |
| Christian Schwamkrug Christian Schwamkrug is design director and deputy managing director of the prestigious Porsche Design Studio in Austria. Under his leadership, this studio has created many award-winning designs, including digital cameras for Fuji and kitchen equipment for Siemens. He joined the Porsche Design Studio 20 years ago after working as a freelance designer. |  |
| Bertrand Minckes Bertrand Minckes heads Montblanc International’s design team that specializes in luxury products including the company’s prestigious writing instruments. His track record is impressive, and includes periods working for Philips, Louis Vuitton Malletier and Alcatel. Bertrand takes a special interest in developing design talent, and is jury member for the ENSCI-Les Ateliers Design School in Paris. |  |
| Symon Chan Symon Chan is the Research and Development manager at PF Concept International’s head office in Hong Kong. Symon oversees all aspects of design and development, translating ideas into designs that match market demands and are suitable for mass production. He is also an active designer, and has a BA in Industrial Design Studies from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. |  |
| Tjeerd Dijkstra
Tjeerd Dijkstra is R&D director of PF Concept International. In this position he combines both business and creative management. He is involved in all aspects of the design process and is an active designer himself. He completed a Graphic Design degree at the Grafische School in Amsterdam, after which he worked at a number of graphic studios. |  |
